The American social network helped a mother to find her missing child.

The American social network, Facebook, has contributed to a reunion. Facebook news reported that a photograph uploaded on the platform has helped in reuniting a Californian mother with her son. Hope Holland’s emotional story dates back to 1999 when her son was three years old. She separated from her husband but both were jointly looking after their son.

Facebook news today informed that Jonathan’s father kidnapped him, took him away to Mexico, and never returned. The abduction shocked Hope. She stated that her husband took him for a vacation after permission to take him. She added it was a usual day and she never thought that they would not return.

As time passed, she had not assumed that he was also searching for her. In fact, when the child posted his picture on the organization’s network, he thought that his brother or mother would view it and respond. Facebook breaking news affirmed that the child was fortunate, as he was contacted.

The photo was posted on September 5, 2013. The affected parent came across the picture in the initial part of this year and commented that she was his mother and the other boy was his male sibling. Press sources stated that Hope was happy to find out her lost son.

Experts are of the view that the reunion would play a significant role in enhancing the reputation of the organization, which has previously been targeted for violating animal and child rights. It also faced other allegations in the past.

Commercial sources indicated that after completing his graduation, the son would return to the American state. The 18-year-old boy and mother recently arrived at Bay Area in California from the Mexican territory after the border authorities officially recognized their relationship.

Both were not in touch with each other until the boy was able to enter the United States of America, which he did with the help of $1200 generated through an online financing campaign. After reuniting, the family is now attempting to redevelop the relations that were damaged 15 years ago.

Industry experts believe that the social network’s potential to attract users throughout the world has contributed to the reunion, as both the relatives were residing in two different countries. It is probable that other users in grievances would be similarly helped by the platform. Company executives should now take steps to expand its market or it might not be able to rebuild similar relationships.
