The American social network has introduced a new feature.

The American social network, Facebook, has introduced a new feature. Facebook news reported that the company has launched an option that would ease the difficulties of Messenger’s fans. The pioneered tool would let people employ the chatting service without an account on the social platform. Market sources have informed that in order to benefit from the communication technology, the users would only need to enter their phone number, first name, and last name.

Facebook news today informed that the user-friendly update is not new for the organization, as it has previously tested it on Android in India and three other countries, but the tests were ceased in 2012. The details of the mechanism by which the recent feature would function has been disclosed.

A new “Not On Facebook” button in the application would allow the users to upload their phone contacts. Its platform would then match them against the service’s users, who have logged up with those phone numbers to develop a social graph of ‘no-account users’.

Facebook breaking news affirmed that users would also be allowed to employ a Facebook search function to find people whom they want to communicate with, but who might not have disclosed their number. Head of Messenger, David Marcus, has stated that the new feature works like an address book.

He further added that the new feature has not been introduced to enter countries, such as People’s Republic of China, where its networking service has been blocked, as Messenger would be banned too.

Facebook’s Messenger is not the only application to be equipped with such an update. Many other messaging services, such as WeChat, Kik, and WhatsApp, also let their users log up with their phone numbers only. Facebook engineer, Louis Boval, has stated that the management has tried to provide the best messaging service possible by giving people a charming opportunity to connect with Messenger and share their views with friends.

He also said that the new update would help people to benefit from a number of features available on Messengers, such as group chats, videos, photos, video calling stickers, and voice.

Media sources suggest that the networking organization has recently introduced a number of other updates to improve its messaging tool, such as payments, video calling, and location sharing features. The social platform’s management should now take steps to promote this innovation in the best possible manner to lure a significant number of non-Facebook account users.
