Alibaba Group would present and promote the FIFA world cup.

Alibaba has taken an initiative to appease sports fans. The online trading giant proclaimed today an 8-year presenting tie up with the Fédération International de Football Association (FIFA) in the name of Hangzhou-based enterprise owned “internet car” brand Alibaba E-Auto for the FIFA Club World cup.

Alibaba news exclaimed that the Association and the brand would collaborate to market the most admired club football event, now formally identified as the “FIFA Club World Cup Presented by Alibaba E-Auto,” to an international audience through the special rights related to the tournament’s presenting partnership. The backing is a significant step in the electronic commerce organization’s long-term tactical focus on happiness and health and a pledge to promote sports in China and other countries.

Alibaba sports group, jointly developed by Yunfeng Capital, Sina Corporation and Alibaba in September this year played a significant role in tying up the association and the electronic trading platform together. Alibaba Sports Group was developed with the intent to restructure the most populated country’s sports industry through the employment of internet systems.

Alibaba news today affirmed that Alibaba’s CEO Daniel Zhang stated, “Alibaba E-Auto, owned by Alibaba Group, is proud to be the Presenting Partner of the FIFA Club World Cup for the coming eight years. Sports is at the intersection of Alibaba Group’s strategic themes of health and happiness, and we look forward to adding new value for participants and consumers in the sports sector through data-driven Internet technology.”

According to the contract, the brand would become the FIFA Club World Cup’s exclusive presenting partner from 2015 to 2022. The tournament of this year would include eight games, which would take place from December 10 to December 20 in Japan. The brand would be presenting the Most Valuable Player prize at the end of every match, including the competition MVP at the final on December 20.

Alibaba Breaking news reported that the most prominent football club of China Guangzhou Evergrande was able to claim the 2015 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League title for the second time in the last month and would play against Club América in the tournament on December 13, 2015 in the Japanese city Osaka.

The Southeast Asian company purchased Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao’s share in June last year. Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao is the first and only football club of China that has succeeded in winning the AFC Champion league two times.

The organization’s participation in the event has been proclaimed at a time when it has made an announcement regarding the appointment of four new members to its central management group “Alibaba Partnership,” which has been authorized to carry out the nomination of board of directors’ majority. This is the first time the organization has included new members to its group since its IPO in New York last year.
