Uber would transport fast food as a part of its food delivery service, UberEats, in San Francisco.

Fast food lovers would like Uber for the new initiative. Uber news exclaimed that the Californian enterprise would start supplying hot meals from local restaurants to users in San Francisco. The product known as UberEats, gives users an opportunity to order through the application and select from a few food items during a particular span of time. Of the six cities where the transporter already delivers food, some are limited to lunch, while others also offer brunch and dinner, and the menu amends regularly.

Uber news today disclosed that since its introduction in 2010, Uber has been intending to expand from its transportation service to what it refers to as ‘urban logistic fabric’ – a platform consisting of many drivers able to offer not jut not a ride but any product within a few minutes. The ride sharing organization seems interested in delivery, despite a few hurdles along the way.

The North American giant lost out to Postmates, a courier and delivering service on contracts with retailers, such as Starbucks and Apple. Uber breaking news stated that transporter’s hometown, has been an area where it has tested new products, such as its car pool service, known as UberPool. It could prove to be a difficult market for Uber’s food delivery.

The region is flooded with services that pledge to supply something to consume in just a few minutes, whether it is from restaurant across the area or their own kitchens. The fast food distribution service would start from weekday in two districts, named South of Market District and Financial District.

Meals would usually be offered between $8 and $12 with delivery charges worth $3. Other cab service providers have viewed delivery as not just a side venture, but as a new objective. Sidecar, which began as an Uber rival, has focused on providing delivery service for other enterprises. Its CEO, Sunil Paul, has admitted that Sidecar was overtaken in capital from Lyft and Uber, which had received more funds.

Market experts have shared the perspective that the newly introduced facility would not only increase the organization’s sales revenue and market share but also improve its relations with the restaurants and residents of San Francisco. It is most likely that Uber’s initiative would threaten the interest of its rivals in the corporate world. Its executives should deliver food items to compete with food delivery service providers.

People have highly regarded the initiative, which grasped their attention significantly. The taxi service company also redesigned the app to accommodate the new offerings.
