Facebook has taken a measure to appease the European community.

The American social network, Facebook, has taken a measure to appease the European community. Facebook news reported that the company would file a planning application for developing a new data center in Meath, Ireland. It is expected that the company would disburse €200,000,000 on its new venture. Government sources have reported that the Irish Minister for Data Protection, Dara Murphy, has welcomed this initiative as he has said that the organization’s growth related initiative is quite encouraging.

Facebook news today exclaimed that the social media company’s investment would increase the head count of the staff in the European state. The growth-related step has been taken at a time when the European authorities are interested in introducing a new data protection policy. The governments of different EU member countries are currently negotiating to launch the privacy regulation.

Facebook breaking news disclosed that the officials of a number of member states are not satisfied with the negotiations, which include France and Germany. It is probable that if the member states agree, a final contract would be signed by the end of the year. However, the Irish authorities are not bothered by the introduction of the new rule.

It has been revealed that renewable resources would be used to electrify the new facility. Media sources have revealed that the platform pioneer’s venture would be supported by the public enterprise, IDA Ireland.

The Chief executive of IDA Ireland, Martin Shanahan, has claimed that the company has maintained strong and extensive relations with the country. He also said that the its plans would play an important role in further strengthening its relations with the Irish state.

Since 2007, the networking giant is operating within the territorial boundaries of the European state. Data center director of Facebook, Rachel Peterson, has stated that the social media platform hopes to establish a highly advanced, environmental-friendly data center that would help to improve its relationship with the population of the Irish territory.

Industry experts presented the view that the recent project would not only improve Facebook’s reputation, but also play an important role in extending its presence. It is expected that its competitors might also take steps to appease the Irish population. The means by which the latest center is managed and operated will determine its effectiveness. It should now take measures to develop the said center in the shortest span of time or it might fail to progress in the European economy.
