It has been followed by the Japanese automaker, Nissan Motor Corporation Limited, which has been able to successfully dispatch more than 2100 Leaf vehicles in the United States of America.

Tesla Motors news, which has not officially disclosed its sales figure, affirmed that the automaker’s American competitor, General Motors, has been successfully able to become the third largest seller of the month, which has sold more than 1610 Chevrolet Volt cars in the month.

Different sources have disclosed different figures regarding the sales volume of Tesla. Green Car has reported that the electric-vehicle pioneer has supplied a number greater than 800 units and less than 1500 units. Contrary to that, officials of WardsAuto have claimed that the automaker has sold more than 1650 vehicles.

Media sources have reported that all the supplied Model S vehicles belong to the all-wheel drive D version. The models of the sold products encompass highly priced 85D, P85D and new 70D amongst which, the mot preferred automobile was Model S 85D, as stated by Tesla news today.

Experts are of the view that the sales of the D version determine the product’s potential to dominate the international electric-vehicle market. The leading position of the company sends a threatening message to its rivals in the largest economy in the world. It is probable that if the organization continues to sell in a similar manner, then it would finally become the largest electric automobile supplier in the highly competitive world.

Industry experts believe that the automaker’s first position would not only impress Mr. Musk but also help improve the motivation levels of the company’s workforce. A number of other manufacturers have also performed well in the 30-day period, including the German business, Bayersiche Motoren Werke AG, and Ford Motor Company. Both said organizations have sold less than 1000 units.
