The social media website has decided to make the GIP feature readily available for the users; again - in an effort to attract more users to the website.

Jack Dorsey, the chief executive officer has been receiving a lot of heat from Wall Street; investors are simply pissed at the company now. Ever since Dorsey was appointed as the official CEO of Twitter Inc. the stock price has just plunged. However, it would not be fair to say that he has not been frantically working to make the micro-blogging site more engaging. The company’s efforts of making the user experience more engaging and attract more users towards the website have all gone in vein.

However, with the probable introduction of the GIF feature, they might just be able to increase the user engagement on the social media site. With its biggest rival just coming up with newer and better features almost every week (figuratively), it has become harder for the networking website to charm the audience. One of major issues that have been with the company since the beginning has been the lack of its features because of which it has had sluggish user growth.

The social media network has not yet launched the GIF feature on the site yet but a number of users have stated that they have spotted the button that often appears between the camera icon and the poll on the Twitter app on the IOS. It is the new fad that all the other social media websites have been opting for including KIK, an instant messaging application along with Facebook that has had this feature for quite some time.

Twitter, Inc. has not yet announced the launch of the product but it is safe to say that the users of the micro-blogging site will be quite excited to hear the news. Presently, this is the latest technology that the CEO along with his team is working on; additionally quite recently they incorporated Periscope with the Twitter app as well – while before the users would have to switch between the two apps and to our surprise the feature did quite well amongst the users of the website.

Furthermore, the website is also working on introducing an algorithmic timeline by next week, according to BuzzFeed News. With the help of the new algorithmic feature users will be able to see tweets based on what people want to see the most – however presently it is still not known whether users will have an option for this or the entire timeline would change. The social media organization has been testing the algorithmic timeline with a number of users and evidently it has gone well for them that is why they have decided to launch it.

Twitter stock is being traded at a decline of 7.07% at $15.72. During the previous trading session, the stock was seen hit a high of $16.64 and at a low end it was seen at $15.62. In a year’s time the highest level at which the social media stock was seen at was $53.49 while the lowest during the year was $15.48. The earnings per share reported by the micro-blogging site is $-0.86 with a market capitalization of $11.54 billion.
