CEO Elon Musk is not taking Apple's car project seriously and calls it "Tesla Graveyard".

The founder and CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk, has thought upon the Apple’s recruitment policy. He expressed his views in an interview with the Germany-based newspaper, Handelsblatt, when questioned about the fact that the Cupertino-based enterprise continues to recruit Tesla’s engineers. Elon did not worry to spare anyone’s emotions.

Tesla News affirmed that Mr. Musk stated, "They have hired people we’ve fired. We always jokingly call Apple the 'Tesla Graveyard.' If you do not make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I’m not kidding." The South African born entrepreneur was later asked whether he taking Apple seriously, he agreed by stating that it was "the next logical thing," for the electronics manufacturer to offer "significant innovation."

Tesla news today revealed that Musk poked at the recently proclaimed iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, stating that modernizations in the shape of a bigger iPad or a new pencil are "not relevant enough". Nevertheless, Elon holds the belief that vehicles are much more complicated than the likes of smart watches and smart phones. "You can't just go to a supplier like Foxconn and say: Build me a car," he informed the European publication.

Other stakeholders of the vehicle manufacturing industry, such as Bob Lutz, expressed Elon’s feelings, and warned that Apple’s expedition into automobiles would prove to be a "giant money pit”.

Tesla Motors news exclaimed that it is not a secret that the two modern enterprises are interested in hiringi each other’s engineering experts, and Musk himself stated in May that cut rates tend to favor Tesla by a ratio of 5 to 1. Given today’s remarks, it looks that the electric vehicle has proved to be much more successful since those moving out are “bad apples”. Presently, the iPhone maker is luring the automobile manufacturer’s workers by signing bonuses worth $250,000 and increments of 60%.

It seems that Apple is working aggressively on its automobile venture, with reports previously this year claiming that hundreds of employees have been held responsible to complete the new job. In spite of its magnitude, nonetheless, few essential details have been revealed.

Apple Insider, previously this year, disclosed that the iPhone giant is executing its vehicle operations in a discreet facility in Sunnyvale, California, though that might change in the upcoming months. Apple is interested in developing a devoted facility in a 43-acre land owned by it in San Jose.

Tesla has appointed almost 150 Apple workers. Its CEO has targeted Apple at a time when it is taking measures to sell 500,000 cars per annum by 2020. This recruitment battle between these organizations has intensified lately. The lucrative packages have succeeded in attracting the engineers and both companies have tried to lure employees.
