Elon Musk is interested in exploring the factors responsible for the space accident, along with the support of US Air Force.

The CEO of the American electric vehicle manufacturer, Tesla Motors, is interested in identifying the factors responsible for the destruction of Falcon 9. Tesla news exclaimed that Mr. Musk’s space research organization, SpaceX, is still probing the rocket explosion on June 28, 2015.

Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) was trying to transport nearly 2 tons of supplies and equipment to the International Space Station where the incident occurred, destroying the vehicle and its payload.

Tesla news today disclosed that similar events had been witnessed previously, as a number of other high-tech space rockets, such as the Russian Progress 59 Cargo ship and Orbital Science Antares Rocket, had also failed to complete their missions. These failures have created problems for the occupants of the orbiting outpost, as they need to survive with supplies that could last for a time span of four months, rather than the normal 180 days.

Press sources stated that SpaceX might still be awarded a contract to launch a new satellite for joining the Global Positioning System (GPS) network. The Air Force of the United States of America believes that the corporation should retain eligibility for launching the satellite, according to Tesla Motors news. It has stated that it can solve any technological problems that its machinery may be facing.

US Air Force Secretary, Deborah James, has stated that if the space firm has to win, it would be just 730 days before the mission, and they would have ample time to prepare themselves. The officials of the American Air force are contributing to the investigation of the accident.

The accident was followed by the intervention of the Space firm’s President and Chief executive officer Gwynne Shotwell, who called Ms. James to extend the firm’s drive to identify and solve the problem. The South African born owner of Tesla has claimed that he expects to reach preliminary conclusions regarding last flight by the latter part of the week.

In 2011, Space Shuttle program was ended. Since then, the USA has failed to transfer astronauts through local technological means, as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration is transporting astronauts through Russian flights. The authorities are expecting that private organizations, such as SpaceX, would succeed in transporting humans to the space station in coming years.

The aforementioned accident would adversely affect the financial position of the space organization, as an additional cost would be added for employing a launch system that has previously failed. SpaceX’s management and military officials should now speed up the process of determining the factors responsible for causing the accident; otherwise, they might fail to achieve their objectives. Air Force’s support serves as a viable step towards the investigation. Therefore, the company should benefit from it in an appropriate manner.
